Moctezuma - D Todd In Da HOUSE!

Hey fam,

One word to describe this week.... freaking amazing....okay well that is two words but this week was so so great. To start off we got to play v-ball with the zone on Monday and I have no idea who is the Baker's friend to talk to him... do you know his name or ..... But Tuesday we were super excited because we finally had time to work in our area and go to district class and so yeah we did all that and then went home to go make food because comida gave us money so we were just gonna make something when.... hna. Chavez, the sister training leader called us and was like "Um Hermanas are you busy right now?... haha so it turns out that Presidente  Anaya called her and said the sisters from the other mission didn't show up for their open house shift so we needed to be there as soon as ´possible... haha so we ran, packed food and ran to a micro (little buses we take here to get to the temple) and we made it there in like 30ish minutes and all of us hermanas made it around the same time.... haha so of course when we get there the other sisters show up and Presidente said, "Well hermanas go get your food and I will drive all you guys home" so we all ate our food together and then Presidente and Hna. Anaya took us all home in the mission mini van. But before we got on the freeway...he stopped for ice cream... yeah that's right Presidente bought us all ice cream all 6 hermanas in the mission hahah. It was so great and then dropped all of us off in our different areas. So that was a fun little detour in our day.

Ice Cream with the Anayas

Wednesday we also had time to work in our area because there wasn't a lot of people that had temple reservations so Presidente said we could work in our areas. We did a big contacting thing in our area to find more new people to teach.. and the elders helped us with that and it was just so nice to have time to teach the people in our area. Then Thursday it was just a regular crazy busy day in the temple and our area and then the highlight of the week was this. So we have a massive crazy intersection street that is the exit to the freeway that we have to cross everyday to get to the other part of our area. Imagine me trying to jay-walk the street on like Stapley Rd or something.  So we do that do everyday and walk down the median waiting to cross and this man comes up to us and said in his nice mexican accent "You speak English" of course I said yes because he looked like an interesting man to talk to.  When we said yes... he pulled out his guitar that was on his back and starts singing "There were bells on a hill but I never heard them ringing...." yes he sang us the whole entire song from My Fair Lady, right on the side of the highway street and he was dancing around and singing to us and it was just the greatest thing ever...this old man in his sequin shirt serenading us hahahah but yeah HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK DANIEL SINGING TO US!  Of course after we preached to him he starting singing about Jesus but it was great.... and then Friday.....

So Friday was really busy and in the morning we heard a rumor that D Todd Christofferson (or how ever you spell his last name) was gonna come. So we were pretty hyped and hoping he would come in the morning while we were there but nothing... so it was like 3ish when we needed to leave and then we got word that security had just arrived and then we saw all these workers taking fancy food into a room and so we were all like...ahhh he's coming. So we got permission from Presidente to stay and work and wait to see Elder Christofferson... he ended coming at around six and it was so great we all shook his hand in the hallway and I even had a small conversation with him... it went a little something like this...

Elder C "Hola Hermana como esta"
yo "ah muy bien gracias.... y usted"
Elder C " Muy bien hermana porque estoy aqui en el templo"

..... yup we had a conversation, yes it was brief but I HAD A CONVERSATION WITH AN APOSTALE! It was so cool and not gonna lie all of us hermanas were freaking out and we were so excited! The photographers got some pics of us shaking hands with him and we are waiting for presidente to email us all the pictures because he has them all! So yeah Friday beat Thursday as far as being great!

Oh also shout out to Deanna and Maddie for the package; you guys are the best, don't worry we shared all the candy with the hermanas working at the temple and me and Hna. Gantz are reppin AZ with our solid AZ T-Shirts! haha yeah I got the package Friday and then after we met D Todd and were fan girling(editor: I have no idea what she is trying to say here)...we lost our phone in an gas station type of store.... SAD! But you know nothing could phase us after meeting an apóstle! So yeah it was great!

Saturday was crazy crazy crazy at the temple but really cool and I have just met the coolest people and loved hearing so many peoples testimonies and experiences! Sunday was good we got a big menos activo family to church so that was good and we just put a baptismal date with their uncle Miguel he is pretty great with his dreadlocks and all! WE cant wait to have a baptismal picture with him in his white jump suit and dreads hahaha!

Today we went to the mercado with all the Hermanas and it was crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are lucky we were safe because it was kinda dangerous haha but you know when the lord is on your side! WE were kinda lost but in the end we were able to get the hermanas their Mexican dresses because they all wanted one... and yes i invested in a poncho... it is the greatest and sorry I don't have a píc but next week! And yeah that has been my week!!! WE are on week 5 of 6 of this transfer and I think I am getting moved out and Hna. Gantz might have to train.... she will be great! This week is also the last week of the temple open house so that should be fun and we are all gonna wear our mexican dresses to the open house on Saturday the last day! WE are working the night shift and presidente said we might be there till 12 am so we might all have to sleep at his house... yay sleep over at presidentes house! But this week is gonna be great and I am so happy and just love Mexico!!!!

Mexi Mall!

Also I LOVE my new sobrino COLE... he is just perfecto y muy lindo! also gracias for all the pictures and

Chris......  FELIZ CUMPLAÑOS! I am glad you are having fun with everything and I know in two ish years you will be a great missionary... also you should get your patriarchal blessing because we were talking about that this week a lot and I thought of you and I can't remember if you have one... but if you don't... GET YOURS!!! But yeah happy 17th....

Also much luck to everyone in school I am glad I don't have to think about that right now! But I love you all and here is some pictures... wait this computer isn't working give me some time so I can use hna Gantz computer to send them...

love you,

Moctezuma - #whitest#summer#ever

Coma está? Como les fue con todo en Arizona?

So....... here is how everything has been with the Temple.... we leave our casita como a las 7:45 en la mañana and go to the temple... we are there till 3ish and then we take the micro home, go eat with members and start working at like 5 until 8 - 8:30 ish... we can stay out till 8:30 only if we have a cita (appt) so usually we try to have appts because we don't like to go home so early! That is how it has been for the last week or so...its crazy but so so so fun...but man not gonna lie we are tired... because usually we are studying till 12:00 because we have one hour more of studies with training and then an hour of language study....so yeah its a bit different to be working from like 9 till when we get home...BUT I LOVE IT...I LOVE BEING BUSY!

The temple really has been amazing, I have had a ton of cool experiences with everything,,,, I will share one of my favs because I don't have time to write all of them....

So the other day when we were in the carpa.... reception tent.... I went up to this couple to talk to them and get their reference. I started talking to the husband and he said they are taking the lessons and love it and need to get married first so they can get baptized, then I talked to the wife and she was in a wheel chair and had sunglasses on... well anyways she is blind so I started asking her about everything and how it went in the temple. She started telling me how she had no desire to go because she can't see anything and they live 3 hours away so she didn't really want to go LIKE AT ALL! But then she just started crying and crying and she was telling me how she has never felt so peaceful in her life and she didn't need to see the temple to know that it is a temple of God. And family you know how bad I am at comforting people haha so I was just holding her hand and telling her everything was okay  and that one day her and her husband will be able to get sealed in the temple and she was just crying and so touched from the spirit of the temple.... AHHH how cool is that... the spirit really is so so so strong there and that experience just added more to my understanding of how the temple feels...because la verdad it is a beautiful building, just beautiful but the spirit is even more powerful than all the decoration... so yeah that was really cool.

We also went Thursday night to the temple with the ward and Maricela our investigador and her mom who came from cuidad nesa to see the temple.... and they both LOVED IT! Her mom who knows nothing about the church told her after that in all of her 72 years of her life she has never felt so peaceful and happy....NEVER!  Ahh its just so cool and it is really cool to meet so many diffrent people there in the temple.. I also saw another one of my CCM teachers there but we didn't have time to take a pic #triste Also we met the coolest English family hahah they were so funny and their son is serving in the mesa mish.  The mom said he is close to the temple, but they were so funny and it was fun to be talking English to people...Dad random question but where in England did you serve...because I was telling them you served there somewhere in the north but I couldn't remember where...ahhh (fail as a daughter jaja) but they both served in Birmingham so something like that.... Also story of the week...well funny story of the week.....

Drunk guy in front of house!
Friday we were walking home to the house and I was talking to someone on the phone and then hna. Gantz just stops and was like HERMANA WHO IS AT OUR HOUSE... (background to the story; family Galicia was out of town in Utah for their sons wedding and there was noone at the house) and then I look and there is a drunk man sleeping DIRECTLY in front of our door... sleeping jk passed out cold with the liquor bottle somewhere close. hahah I was like what the crap how are we gonna get into our house... so I called the zone leaders and they where like well hermanas what do you want us to do.... so yeah they were great help... so just decided to step over him and enter but first of course we got a pic of this drunk guy posted up in front our casa! Ahh man we were dying!

More about hna. gantz she is in love with all things Disney so I have been trying to relate more to that because I like Disney but I am more of a 6 flags, chick flick, type of person...haha but thats okay we are finding small similar interests...she loves to work and isn't afraid to speak Spanish so that is a #blessing!

But life is just just just great... today was our first normal monday p-day ever well with hna. Gantz... we went and played v-ball with the zone and you know the usual Walmart run but life is just gucci! I love you all and yay chris for doing good in the game when you got the ball...

Oh and my title is because this is the whitest I have ever been in the summer time ahhh I don't like being white I want to be brown....lol but really! Also mom to answer your question, Logan's mission can have 40 hermanas because it is safe... we can only have a max of 20 because president doesn't have enough safe areas for hermanas and dang that's too bad he didn't find me, I have been there everyday till 3 pm but that's okay! Life is good, I will talk to you guys next week... much love!!!!!!
 con mucho amor,
Hermana Heywood

Moctezuma - #blessed

Well fam, how is everything going in AZ... yes you might be asking why is Dana emailing AGAIN just to let  you know NO i am not a FRITA.... (mexi slang for a crappy missionary that breaks the rules).  No we have p-day this Thursday because we will not be having a p-day next week... even though we thought that this week was no p-day,  Presidente changed his mind again...haha

 BUT...

The Temple AHHHHHHHHHH! We had a big meeting about the Temple on Monday with all the sisters in the Northwest mission, and the Southeast mission and all of the area 70´s were there and also Eduardo Carbajal and I think he may have sent Grandma a picture.... but it was really cool and we got to go into the Temple. I can't even explain how beautiful it is inside... BEAUTIFUL! And it is just amazing how strong the spirit is and it isn't even dedicated yet. So it was super cool, all the 70´s gave us a tour and we were with Elder Piper and it was cool to talk to him and the fact that a 70 of the church was giving us a tour of the third biggest temple in the world!  The spirit was SO STRONG! It was really cool in one of the instructional rooms we had a little devotional and Elder Kent Richards, a different 70, gave a message about women and the priesthood and it was just really spiritual and a moment in my life that I will never forget! Then later that day we started giving the tour things.... we basically just stay in a room and welcome people and then show them a really good video of 10 minutes about temples and give them some of the basic info and send them on their way into the temple! It is fun because we are with all the sisters from our mission and our shifts are with the South East sisters too, but its fun because all 8 of us in the East mission have been able to get to know each other a lot better and it is fun.

To See a Slideshow of the Temple, Click Here

So on Monday in the afternoon we started giving tours in the afternoon and then on Tuesday we went in the afternoon and it was cool because it was the VIP so important people in Mexico, like people from government or big companies and head people in the Catholic church in Mexico, and they made me do a tour thing in English and I couldn't do it....ahhh its so hard to talk about the gospel in English.... SO HARD! So yeah hahah it was in Spanglish but that's okay the spirit was still present! That has been the biggest thing that happened this week and tomorrow starts the open house for the general public so its gonna be crazy! We are way excited. Also it has been kinda hard to work in our area just because we have been at the temple a lot but yesterday was the first full day we have had in our area in like a week so we got some good work done and yeah it was great!

Also there is gonna be a lot of work to do when the temple starts because there is gonna be a ton of references that we will get from people going! On Monday alone there was a huge stack, like massive of references and one of them we read said "I felt as though Christ was with me inside...how do I become a member of this church".... way cool huh?

As for the color scheme, Madre....it is a lot of white and browns and bronze...the baptistery is really cool and the ox are like a dark dark bronzish brown and it is super cool and the font itself had the Aztec design on the outside and then a massive mural on all of the walls of the mountains of Mexico.  Also the temple has escalators!!!!!!! Its so big and tall you have to take escalators haha we were like what the heck this is so cool, but I guess when its the 3rd biggest temple in the world you have to have those to get around.  The temple art work in the temple is so amazing.... when you walk in the entrance there is a picture of Christ with two little lamanite girls and it is now one of my favorite pictures ever... it is also the picture on the reference card so I will take a picture of it and send it you. The celestial room is really cool and white with lots of gold and cool patterns and the chandelier is so cool and different, I just LOVE IT ALL!  These next couple of weeks are gonna be just so so so good!

Hermana Gantz is awesome and just so excited to be here and she is a hard worker so we are getting stuff done #holla

Oh also Hna Rhoten was talking to Presidente and 4 new hermanas are coming next month and there is only 6 of us right now...haha so all of us that are training are gonna not finish our training and get another hija and then one of our hijas is gonna train and then the other two would just go to together and finish their training together hahah so yeah that's what happens when there is no sisters in the mish its crazy!

Also all our investigadores are really good we have also been teaching a cousin of Valentin ...the member that is in our ward and she (Diana) and her husband (Ivan) are really interested and her little girl that is 9 (Camie) and then they also have a 7 year old (Sebastian) but we are gonna work hard with them to get them to the casa abierta because that is just what they need to learn about eternal families! We are also still working with Maricela and she is going great and then Mercedes, we haven't been able to find her in a while with our crazy schedules.  We have some great investigators right now and there is just lots to do!

I love you all here are some pictures!

Us at the Temple

I saw Hermana Nava, one of my CCm teachers here at the temple.  It was good to see her and talk to her in pure Spanish #goalachieved!

Moctezuma - Life of a Mom

Holla fam,

Hope everything is going good in AZ and Chris is having fun back at school! Mexi is just GREAT! This week has gone really really good.  All I can say is the gift of tongues is real and we are really blessed by the help of the members in our ward! #BLESSED This week has been crazy because we have had meetings on meetings on meetings. Monday, the new missionary meeting then Tuesday, zone class and Thursday zone conference...so it has been a bit crazy and we haven't had a regular day yet in the field. jajaja but I love being busy so I am happy! But it is kinda weird now to be calling all the shots and stuff.

The life of being a mom is weird because now I am the one that is talking the most in our citas and deciding what to do and who to see and its just a little bit different but good ya know! I am not gonna lie, I was stressin hard core before Hna. Gantz got here because well my Spanish wasn't perfect and I was scared to be the one that had to call the shots and stuff like that but, I have just really learned that when you put you faith in the Lord EVERYTHING works out!!! EVERYTHING! We have had a good busy week full of citas and lots of contacting in the street to invite people to the open house. And mi hija is AWESOME!  Seriously she is so excited to be here and to work and speak Spanish and be with the people so that is good. She is a hard worker and tough so its just gucci!
Mi hija y yo in the Internet Cafe

Hna Rhoten y yo con our Nefi
This week has been a bit crazy and its so weird to have p-day on a Saturday but hey what are you gonna do. We will not be having p-day next week because that temple open house is going to start so I will not write till the next Monday! But I am so excited because we are gonna enter the temple this Monday to start practicing being "tour guide barbies"...lol jk we are are gonna rock it and make the people fill the spirit in our little recited stuff .... but basically what we are going to do is kinda like in the Gilbert open house when the sister missionaries where in the stake center and they introduce the little movie you watch and then make groups for the people to enter the temple....yeah that's what we are gonna be doing... and we are way excited to be on the temple grounds everyday. All the elders are mad we get to because they are not allowed to go to the temple open house they are suppose to have members take their investigators and they have to stay in their areas contacting all the references...so they are all a little bit bummed. But yeah with cambios this week (transfers) there was a ton of changes in our zone and district...but hey are district leader is from AZ Elder Milky he is from Apache junction.... so basically the middle of nowhere....haha but that is cool because I think he is the only other person in the mish from AZ. #grandcanyonstaterepresent!

WE have been working a lot with Maricela and she should be getting baptized  the 30th of august and then one of our neighbors, Mercedes we put fecha with her for the 6th of sept so that will be good and then the rest are are usual investigators! I am excited that we have been able to work more because it was hard when hna. rhoten was sick because she would be throwing up in the street and it was hard for her to work all day so I hope she is doing good and getting healthier! I have seen her at some of the meetings this week to so its good to see mi madre! hahah Life is good and here I will add some more pics...I  love you all and hope you are all doing good and enjoying your lives! Stay Classy

con amor, Hermana Dana Heywood

Moctezuma - Estoy un MAMA

Dear fam!

Well I don't know where to start because so much happened this last week! SO MUCH! First of all hna. Rhoten was sick a lot and throwing up so we were not able to work a whole lot but we worked to the best of her ability! Also we have a mouse in the house so that is super fun! Nacho got the holy ghost, we went to the CV con Alisson and her Dad and also Maricela. We had a training meeting on Saturday and it was just great and all three of us sisters that are new are training! And the most exciting part of all is I am now officially training!!!! AHHHH

Hnas Gantz, Heywood & Rhoton (3 Generations)
Info sobre mi hija.... her name is Hermana Savannah Gantz from Cocoa Beach Florida! She is super cool and I think we are gonna get along just great! She is very excited to be here and working so we will have a fun time working till we die! Yesterday we picked her up after we drop Isaac Galicia off at the airport because he left for Utah to get married in two weeks and start school at BYU ( he is the son of the members we live with). Afterwords we went and picked her up and we were late but that's okay everyone was still there getting their comps so it all worked out just great! We also had p-day for part of today and then part of yesterday becuase this week is CRAZY! Today we had to go back to the offices (which is right next to the temple) for a meeting with all of the trainers and their children. It was good, lots of info about well...everything and I remember being overwhelmed my first day in that meeting and so I tried not to overwhelm her.  On the bright side, I understood 89 percent of everything that was being said so I was super super happy! Hna. Rhoten y yo finished reading the Book of Mormon yesterday in our studies and there is a promise that if you read the BOOk of Mormon out loud you will be able to speak the language you were reading in, and yeah that promise is so so so sosoooooo true because Spanish just became way easier! NO LIE! Yesterday we only had two citas because it was p-day but we put fecha for a bapstim so yay we are already working hard, and then today we will have two citas again becuase it is p-day. The reason pday is split is because we also had a meeting about the temple! FINALLY!!!!!

Sisters with the new hijas!
So here is the deal with the open house....we are gonna be working there EVERYDAY from 9 am till 3 pm and then we go to our areas...eat and then work all night and we have to fit in our studies to at night which will be a little bit hard because when you are in training, studies are 4 hours so yeah the next month is gonna be crazy but so so so cool! Hey, is Edguardo Carbajal coming for the temple open house because president was showing us a email he sent president and that will be cool if he comes, he can come say hi to me even though I have only talked to him a couple times. So we are gonna be at the temple every day and maybe even Sundays because they might let the missionaries take their investigators on Sunday nights and it would only be Sundays. I am super excited and we have another meeting about the temple on Monday...all day so our p-day will be this Saturday.  Yeah 3 pdays this week...crazy right! It sounds like everything is really good at home and I am happy Seth enjoyed his birthday. Hna. Rhoten has all the pics from this week on her camera so I will send them to you later! haha probs Saturday! But life is just great and I am so happy and excited we are gonna be working in the temple NEXT WEEK! Presidente said we get to go next Monday so that will be super cool. I love you all so much, Chris have fun at school and Luke and Jared get married jajaja but for real though!  I will send pics in a sec and yeah i heard Ashlee´s mission got changed to Spanish speaking so now she is learning Spanish!!!!!  Love you all stay safe and go to church!

con amor, Dana

Moctezuma - Holla to my man "Nacho"

Dear Fam,

Guess what Nacho got baptized por fin! He quit smoking for the whole week and was able to get dunked yesterday.... ah man we were so dang happy for that man! Also his niece got baptized because she just turned eight and has been going to church...but we didn't work with her because her family is menos activias so she was interviewed by Bishop and her cousin Set taught her the lessons. So yes, Nacho Libre got baptized and it was just a good day and he was so so so happy. We can really tell the difference in his and Almas lives now that they keep the commandments because they are just so much happier. So yay, next year on the 26th of July of 2016, I will send you a pic of me, Nacho y Alma at the temple when they get sealed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hnas Heywood & Rhoten, Alma & Nacho

Us with Andrea (Nacho's niece)

The rest of the week was good too. We went to the CV with R, Hna. Guadalupe or as we call her granmda guada and our mission leader Ricardo. The pic I sent you from the cv with R (not mission leader) who sometimes is scary looking and ALWAYS wear his hat and shades but every once in a while he takes of his shades to put on his glasses to read but yeah that's R. His baptism was suppose to be yesterday but he was like, "Hna´s no I am not getting baptized, I think people in the church sell drugs and are in the mafia."  His prayers are so so so good though and he does his homework and always reads in the book of Mormon so yeah we will see what is up with this man....oh also he doesn't want anyone at his baptism because he is afraid his neighbors will show up because he thinks they want to kill him....so its a bit difficult! hahah we will see.
Centro para Visitantes del Templo de la Ciudad de México

Honey
Also this week we stared teaching a lady named Maricela and she is so so so so good. She just moved here to take care of her uncle because her Grandma came to her in a dream to do so....and guess what her Grandma was Mormon! She was talking to us how she doesn't know why she is here because she liked her town better than the city....anyways it was perfect and we were talking to her about how everything has a purpose in life and yeah she is awesome. She also gave us a ton of honey that she brought from her town because a guy makes it there and it is really good....so she gave us some...but it is in massive liquor bottles hahah so we were walking down the street with massive liquor bottles full of honey!

Also Angela went to EFY and loved it!!! But she still doesn't want to get baptized because it is hard for her because nobody in her family supports it and they all don't really like the church....minus Valentin her uncle that is a member! So we are gonna keep on working with her family...and one of her aunts actually just started listening to the lessons with her family so hopefully that will be good for her!

Making cookies with Alisson and Frida
Today we went to the market that has like authentic Mexican stuff to buy such as Mexican dresses and I got a yellow one! Mom the market is something you would love.... so when we come back we can go there and you can buy all the nativities and Mexican tile you want! It was pretty cool but sorry I didn't really take pictures of it, nor my dress but hna. Rrhoten and I will take some and I will send them next week! Also today we made cookies with Alisson and her cousin Frida...chocolate chip....but we had some complications with the oven and the altitude so they weren't the prettiest and were burnt on the bottom but they were still good! I think both of those girls will serve missions they were asking a ton of questions about it and they would be awesome! But yeah life her in Mexico is good and the work is progressing and we still don't know a ton about the open house but ya know its in two weeks so I will find out some time between now and then. Also we are trying to convince president to let Hna. Rhoten stay in a trio with me and my hija for two weeks because she is only extending two weeks and we have three beds.... so we will see! I am sure I will have a ton to write about next week. P-day is not till Wednesday so yeah I wont be writing till then. But I love you all so much and I hope you are all safe and having a fun summer.

FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS A MI SOBRINO SETH! LO QUIERO MUCHÍSIMO! Also I can't believe Katie is having a baby soon, haha we are both pregnant! but I am due next Monday.... and yeah i don't know how to spell prego... but mom if you haven't sent that package yet perfecto because you should print out more pictures of our family and put them in it. Like a picture from my baptism, a pic from dance, cheer pic with Kuresa, pictures of the lake or our family hiking, more pictures of the family from when I was little till  now. a picture of the Gilbert temple, picture from the Gilbert temple celebration, skydiving pic, us maybe at conference or something, the day I took out my endowments, pictures from when I got set apart as a missionary and yeah just more more more pictures to put in my family history pamphlet because its really expensive and complicated to do it here! But if you could do that I would love you even more...if that is possible I already love you a lot but yes love you madre and family...Aaron thank you for the advice and Seth I loved your letter.....also LUKE can you pretty please send me the poem you read at your homecoming talk? Well I better go but I love you all!

con amor, Hermanita Heywood

Moctezuma - Rockin' Mexi

Hola Fam y amigos....

This week was good and interesting...poor ,madre Rhoten was sick and was bed ridden kind-of, for a good part of the week so we couldn't do a whole lot...she got parasites or something didn't get along with her stomach and one thing lead to another and all the meds the dr´s made her take didn't help her feel well and it was just hard for her to work because she didn't feel good and was throwing up a lot...but now i think she is on the mend so yay! I went on division with Bishops daughter twice while Hna. Rhoten stayed either with bishops wife or hna. julia (the members we live with). It was good for me to go out with Karina (bishop's daughter) because I had to lead all the lessons and things like that and it gave me more of a feel of what is gonna go down when I become a mama' in two weeks (ahhh). Tell the boys that I am sorry I spelled pregnant wrong last week, these computers only spell check Spanish so therefore I have no idea how many things I am spelling wrong... what matters most is my Spanish is correct for presidents letters jaja.

Hna Heywood & Rhoten, Angela & Vaentin at the CV
Everything is good in Moctezuma... Raul is getting baptized this Sunday and Nacho too (hopefully) he just need to quit smoking and toady is supposed to be his first day sin cigaro so hopefully he stopped. He is on vacation at the playa till tomorrow and hasn't answered our calls today so we don't know yet whether or not we can eat chocolate tonight to celebrate! Angela left for EFY today so we will see how that goes... I have faith she is gonna love it and want the desire to be baptized and that she will talk to her mom and really express why she wants it! We are hoping she will get baptized before hna. Rhoten leaves! We went to the CV with her yesterday and her tío Valentin...(the famous one who has a I am a Mormon video...if you haven't watched it you should) and it went really well. She really really liked it, and I think she is more a visual learner so she liked watching all the videos and Valentin even has a special video they show on repentance there in the CV so we watched that with her... she didn't know the church had made a video of him and was like what the heck why is my tío in this video jaja! We told her he is famous and then a couple minutes later a sister from the CV came up to us and was like excuse me but are you the guys from the video... we were laughing so hard because he is famous in the church world!

La Familia Galacia
Also I want to share more with you guys about the family we live with...well we live under their house... Familia Galicia! They are the best and are like my mom and dad here in the mish. Because hna. Rhoten was sick they kept on bringing us food and medicine and things like that and kept us company! They are the best type of people in the world and will drop what they are doing to help us. Not to mention hna. julia galicia makes the best food! Anyways i just feel really blessed to live with them and to have their help and I am glad I will be in Moctezuma with my hija and familia Galicia so they can help me out in my Spanish jaja! The other day we had comida with them and we were talking about how we wanted her recipes and she was like Hna.´s don't you know my rule.... I only give recipes to the missionaries who come back with their wife or husband! That is their incentive to get missionaries to come back and visit haha. Hna. Rhoten only has two weeks once she gets home to find a husband or finance before she comes back to Mexico with her family in order to get the recipes! jaja

Today we went to bosques to vist one of hna Rhotens old converts, we met up there with her old companion (hna. fowler) and her hija hna

Woodard and some other elders were there too...then the missionaries who are in their ward showed up so it was one big happy missionary meal. It was fun to get to know some of the other hna´s.... at the end it was just us 6 sisters and all have hijas and all of us hijas are going to be training this next cycle so it was fun to get to know them and see that we are the future of the mission because basically all the hna´s are leaving after this transfer!

Yes life is good hopefully I have some good baptismal pictures for you guys next week! Everyone looks good at home and I am glad you guys are all safe...familia Galicia thought it was funny that you guys are on vacation in Hawaii and told me to tell you guys to send them something hahah!   Anyways I loved all your pics and everyone looks good and happy and sunburned (Luke mostly). I also enjoyed the Daveism...solid u turn for those t-shirts pops!
